To accelerate wireless-sensor networks, LORD Corporation introduces the LXRS+ wireless networking protocol featuring a bandwidth of 16,000 samples per second per channel, with an aggregate system bandwidth of 256,000 samples per second over 16 channels. The wireless sensor nodes that operate using LXRS+ protocol are designed to operate at incredibly low-power, which enables battery powered networks to operate for extended periods of time and makes the use of energy harvesting systems a viable option for permanent installations.
The WSDA-200-USB, a small, low-cost wireless gateway, enables customers to use the LXRS+ protocol. This gateway collects synchronized data from scalable networks of wireless sensor nodes and provides seamless communication between the wireless sensor nodes and host computer. LXRS+ protocol is available with the WSDA-200-USB gateway and the G-Link-200 or V-Link-200 wireless sensor nodes. The WSDA-200-USB is also compatible with the legacy LXRS protocol which is compatible with all legacy LORD wireless sensor nodes.
