AppNote: Torque Monitoring Solutions

Wireless Node-Based System

Wireless torque monitoring is easy to install and integrate; uses unobtrusive, lightweight hardware; eliminates reliance on slip rings; samples at high rate (continuous and burst); and is ideal for high-RPM applications.

LORD MicroStrain offers three scalable approaches to torque monitoring, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and a perfect fit within your application:

  • Wireless Node-Based System (battery/inductive)
  • Near Field Communication (NFC) Torque Monitoring System
  • Variable Reluctance (VR) Torque Monitoring System

New Wireless Sensing Products Comparison Chart

Compare channels, sample rates, and more.

Now information about all of LORD MicroStrain's Wireless Sensor Nodes is together in one place, enabling you to find the node perfect for your application. Each node's specifications are catalogued, including its sample rates, dimensions, temperature range, and more. There's also a matrix specifying which nodes are best for which application.

Also included is a section detailing the specifications of LORD MicroStrain's Wireless Gateways, along with a summary of our SensorCloud® platform.
