MicroStrain, Inc, a leading manufacturer of extremely small, highly accurate sensing systems, announces it will be increasing its Williston office space to accommodate continued growth, and will be seeking to grow its engineering, marketing and administrative staff.

Over the past year, MicroStrain has continued to increase its global reach and broaden its expertise with new, innovative capabilities.  Among these new capabilities is SensorCloud, a unique sensor data storage, visualization and remote management platform that leverages powerful cloud computing technologies to provide unmatched data scalability, rapid visualization, and user programmable analysis.  Additionally, MicroStrain launched several new sensor products this year, including a GPS-aided inertial navigation system for use on unmanned vehicles and platform stabilization, and a new wireless sensing system with wireless communication ranges up to 2 km and unprecedented time synchronization.  Many major organizations and government departments are implementing MicroStrain’s sensing systems.

Through this continued innovation, MicroStrain is experiencing record high sales and will be seeking to increase its staff further in the coming months.  Currently, MicroStrain has several new positions open and has added 10,000 square feet of new office space, expanding its production, engineering, and meeting spaces to accommodate this growth.

According to MicroStrain President & CEO Steve Arms, “Our talented and dedicated staff are integral to our growth. We look forward to enhancing our team with new employees, allowing us to continue to deliver high quality solutions and ground-breaking advancements in the sensing industry.” Arms added, “We’re honored to be able to contribute to Vermont’s job creation and economic growth.”
