MicroStrain's Advanced Pioneer Kit Promotes Energy Harvesting Exploration & Discovery

Energy Harvesting enables self powered wireless sensing systems to be deployed in applications that require ongoing monitoring and deeply embedded systems.  MicroStrain recently released the EH-Link, a hybrid energy harvesting wireless sensor node that collects energy from multiple sources including strain, vibration, thermal gradients, ambient light, and electromagnetic fields.  To promote ongoing experimentation and discovery of new applications, MicroStrain's Advanced Pioneer Kit allows users to set up Energy Harvesting demos quickly.  The Pioneer Kit includes an EH-Link™ Energy Harvesting Wireless Sensor Node, USB Base Station with Antenna, Thermal Electric Generator (TEG), Solar Demo Board, Node Commander® Software and Manuals CD (Windows® XP, Vista, 7), 9 volt Alkaline Battery, Battery Clip, EH-Link™ 1000 ohm Tester Board, and 1000 uF Capacitor.
